101 things in 1001 days...
The mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in 1001 days
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific ( i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represents work on my part.
Why 1001 days? Many people have created list in the past-frequently simple goals such as New years resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

If at first I don't succeed try try try try again!
Okay...so ten days in and I have had to start over on almost all of my goals. Oh...well, I am not discouraged. I am try try try trying again on some of them. I keep thinking I would like to make exceptions...but then I change my mind and decide that I would really much rather truly accomplish them...how hard can it be right? It is only 30 days. :)

If at first I don't succeed try try again!
Okay...so I started on a few of these goals. Weekends are hard...routines change and they are hard. I decided that I really want to accomplish these goals honestly. So I have to start over on the family prayer morning and night...because mornings on the weekend are just so different that we forgot on Sat. I am thinking about changing that one to pray morning and nightly with family on the weekdays...but what is that teaching my kids. Prayer is only important on the weekdays? I am going to leave it and try again...and as this morning was a failure I guess I will start this one over tomorrow...I am beginning to think it is a very good that I have 1001 days to complete these...I might need all 1001 for this one goal!

Too amibitious?
Too ambitious? Maybe...but I am excited to accomplish things! I started on these ones yesterday.
BTW...Does anyone have a favorite mouthwash? I bought the purple Listerine, it is not too intense...although it is intense, it is just that I don't love the flavor! Tips would be welcome.
- Pray morning and nightly with family for 30 days
- Pray morning and nightly individually for 30 days
- Pray with Ken nightly for 30 days
- Sing nightly to/with that kids for 30 days
- Play a game sometime during the day with the kids for 30 days
- Brush and rinse morning and nightly for 30 days
- Read scriptures daily for 30 days.

101 things in 1001 days...
Ken found this on the internet and we decided to give it a try...I would really like, to like myself more :) and I know that when I accomplish things I am happier. This seems like something I can be successful at...well...we will see.
The list of my 101 things is in the right column. I am going to attempt to blog about the experience as I complete each task...hmm...I guess if I am going to blog about each thing then really I am attempting 102 things. I am such an over achiever! :)
