101 things in 1001 days...
The mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in 1001 days
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific ( i.e. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (i.e. represents work on my part.
Why 1001 days? Many people have created list in the past-frequently simple goals such as New years resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

If at first I don't succeed try try again!
Okay...so I started on a few of these goals. Weekends are hard...routines change and they are hard. I decided that I really want to accomplish these goals honestly. So I have to start over on the family prayer morning and night...because mornings on the weekend are just so different that we forgot on Sat. I am thinking about changing that one to pray morning and nightly with family on the weekdays...but what is that teaching my kids. Prayer is only important on the weekdays? I am going to leave it and try again...and as this morning was a failure I guess I will start this one over tomorrow...I am beginning to think it is a very good that I have 1001 days to complete these...I might need all 1001 for this one goal!
